The REM2026 Organising Committee invites the submission of late breaking abstracts that present recent research advances not previously submitted. Accepted abstracts will be presented as e-posters and included in the REM2026 Book of Abstracts, which will be published as a special issue of IOMP Journal Medical Physics International (MPI). Authors will also have the opportunity to submit full papers for publication in the IFMBE Proceedings Series (Springer), an indexed journal with an impact factor.
We warmly encourage submissions from students and early-career professionals, who may be eligible for a special registration rate and the opportunity to compete for the Young Talent Award.
Eligible applicants must be under the age of 35 and meet one of the following criteria:
– Graduate or undergraduate student;
– PhD student;
– Resident in a postgraduate clinical program.
Applicants must also:
– Serve as the presenting author of the submitted abstract;
– Submit an abstract to the symposium through the regular submission process;
– Attach proof of academic status during the abstract submission process.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to participate in a dedicated Young Talent Award session.
Special registration fee
Upon acceptance, eligible candidates will receive a special registration rate of:
€ 200 – regular fee or
€ 100 – reduced fee for applicants from low-income, lower-middle-income, or upper-middle income countries.
Eligible authors whose abstracts have already been submitted and accepted and who wish to compete for the Young Talent Award are requested to inform the organisers by emailing rem2026@roentgen-bg.org and providing proof of their academic status.
We look forward to your valued contributions.
