*Cheverme: The Bulgarian word “chemerme” means a traditional Balkan-style spit-roasted whole lamb or goat, slow-cooked over an open fire for many hours. The word is commonly associated with Bulgarian hospitality and festive traditions.
**Horo is a traditional Bulgarian folk dance performed in a circle or line, with people holding hands and dancing together to folk music. It is a symbol of joy, unity, and celebration, often danced at weddings, festivals, and special events. Horo represents unity, joy, and togetherness, as everyone can join regardless of age or experience. It is both a cultural tradition and a social experience that brings people together.
